Children’s Privacy Policy / COPPA Notice

Last updated: July 14, 2026

Effective date: January 14, 2026

Overview and Scope

Foodzee is intended to be used by families, and parts of the service may involve child or player profiles managed by a parent or guardian. This Children’s Privacy Policy / COPPA Notice supplements Foodzee’s main Privacy Policy and focuses on how Foodzee handles information associated with children.

Child or player profiles are designed to be created and managed from a primary adult-controlled account.

What Child Data We Collect

When a parent or guardian creates or manages a player profile, Foodzee may collect and process the following child-related information:

  • player username;
  • first name and last name;
  • birthday or age-related date information;
  • diet restrictions and eating challenges entered for the player;
  • activity, report, gameplay, rewards, and progress information associated with the player; and
  • the relationship between the player profile and the supervising parent account.

Parental Consent and How Data Is Used

Foodzee expects a parent or legal guardian to provide consent for child profile creation and related data handling when they create, manage, or continue to use a player profile through the primary account.

Foodzee may use child-related information to:

  • create and maintain the player profile;
  • support age-appropriate gameplay and family account management;
  • track activity, rewards, progress, or reports for the family account holder;
  • support subscription entitlements and player limits tied to the main account; and
  • maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and comply with legal obligations.

Sharing and Third Parties

Foodzee does not use third-party child-directed advertising SDKs in the app.

Child-related information may still be processed by service providers that support Foodzee’s hosting, analytics, push delivery, subscription validation, and support operations, including providers such as Firebase, Apple, and Google where relevant to the service flow.

Foodzee may also disclose child-related information when required by law, to protect safety, or as part of a business transaction, subject to applicable law.

Parent Rights

Parents and legal guardians may have the right, subject to applicable law, to:

  • review information associated with their child’s player profile;
  • request corrections to child profile information;
  • request deletion of child-related information; and
  • refuse further collection or use of certain child-related information, recognizing that some Foodzee features may no longer function as intended.

Parents can contact Foodzee using the contact details below to exercise these rights.

Retention, Security, and Contact

Foodzee retains child-related information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service to the family account, maintain security, fulfill subscription and operational needs, resolve disputes, and comply with law.

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect child-related information, but no system is completely secure.
