This Privacy Policy explains how Foodzee, Inc. and the Foodzee brand (“Foodzee,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collect, use, disclose, and protect information when families use the Foodzee website, the Foodzee mobile application, and related account, support, analytics, subscription, and rewards features.
This Privacy Policy applies to Foodzee’s consumer-facing digital services, including the Foodzee website, mobile application, family account features, subscription flows, support tools, and related service communications.
Information We Collect
Depending on how a family uses Foodzee, we may collect the following categories of information:
- Account and registration information: username, email address, password, first name, last name, phone number, birthday, city, state, and account type information.
- Child or player profile information: player username, first name, last name, birthday, diet restrictions, eating challenges, and parent-to-player account relationship data.
- Subscription and transaction information: subscription plan selections, store product identifiers, original transaction IDs, purchase tokens, order references, checkout session data, and subscription status details.
- Support and communications information: name, email, phone number, and message content submitted through in-app support forms.
- User-submitted food photos and related image data: images uploaded through Foodzee features that allow users to photograph meals or plates for analysis.
- Usage, gameplay, and activity information: logged activity events, reward and redemption activity, mealtime or bite totals, report summaries, screen usage, app events, and related interaction data.
- Device and technical information: Firebase Cloud Messaging tokens, APNs tokens on Apple devices, platform information, app version information, and general diagnostic or analytics metadata generated through configured services.
- Locally stored information: authentication tokens, refresh tokens, cached profile details, player lists, and locally saved profile image file paths stored on the device for app operation.
How We Use Information
We use information we collect to:
- create and manage parent, guardian, and player accounts;
- authenticate users and maintain secure app sessions;
- enable subscription enrollment, billing, validation, renewal status, and related customer support;
- deliver push notifications and in-app notices;
- analyze user-submitted meal photos to help identify food items on a user’s plate and support related app features;
- measure app usage, improve gameplay, monitor adoption, and analyze feature performance;
- power activity summaries, rewards, redemptions, reports, and progress-related features;
- respond to support questions, password resets, and account management requests;
- maintain platform security, detect misuse, and troubleshoot service issues; and
- comply with legal, accounting, tax, contractual, and regulatory obligations.
How We Share Information
We may share information in the following circumstances:
- With service providers and processors that help us host, secure, analyze, support, deliver notifications, validate purchases, or process payments.
- With mobile platform providers such as Apple and Google when required to complete subscriptions, validate in-app purchases, or deliver platform services.
- Within a family account structure when a parent or guardian creates or manages player profiles connected to the main account.
- For legal, safety, and enforcement reasons when required by law, court order, valid government request, or to protect Foodzee, our users, or others.
- In connection with a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to applicable law.
Foodzee does not use third-party advertising SDKs in the mobile application. If we add new advertising or attribution technologies in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly.
Privacy Choices and User Controls
Users may have the ability to access, correct, update, or delete certain account information through the Foodzee app or by contacting Foodzee.
- Parents or guardians can manage linked player profiles that they create inside the app.
- Account holders can request password resets through Foodzee account recovery flows.
- The current app code includes an account deletion flow from the profile area.
- Users can manage push notification permissions through their device settings.
- On iOS, the app requests App Tracking Transparency permission through Apple’s standard device prompt when applicable.

Third-Party Services and SDK Disclosures
The following third-party services, SDKs, and processors support Foodzee’s website, mobile application, and related service operations.
SDK Disclosures
- Firebase Core: initializes the configured Firebase project used by the app.
- Firebase Analytics / GA4: used for app analytics and event measurement.
- Firebase Messaging: used to obtain device messaging tokens and support push delivery.
- Flutter Local Notifications: used to present notifications locally on the device.
- In-App Purchase / StoreKit / Google Play Billing integrations: used to query, initiate, and validate subscription purchases.
- App Tracking Transparency: used on iOS to request Apple’s tracking permission prompt.
Analytics Providers
- Google Firebase Analytics / GA4: used to measure app opens, screen usage, app versions, events, sessions, countries, and related engagement metrics.
Push Notification Providers
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): used to issue and manage push messaging tokens and delivery workflows.
- Apple Push Notification service (APNs): used for Apple-device push routing when applicable.
Payment Processors
- Apple App Store: used for Apple subscription billing and purchase validation.
- Google Play: used for Android subscription billing and purchase validation.
Hosting and Infrastructure Providers
- Hosting, security, and infrastructure support: Foodzee’s website, application, and supporting infrastructure may be operated directly by Foodzee, Inc., by Goozmo, Inc. as an infrastructure and technology support provider, and by Cloudflare for security, performance, and content delivery services.
Other External Data Processors
- AI image analysis provider: Foodzee may use OpenAI to process user-submitted meal photos in order to identify food items on a user’s plate and support related app features.
- Customer support and account operations: Foodzee support requests may be handled by internal personnel or contracted processors selected by Foodzee.
- Rewards, reporting, and subscription operations: service data may be processed by vendors that support Foodzee’s infrastructure, monitoring, accounting, or operations.
Security, Retention, and Contact
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, and Foodzee cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain family accounts, process subscriptions, respond to support matters, enforce agreements, resolve disputes, protect the platform, and comply with legal obligations.
